Field inspection at the GTL Uzbekistan plant

Who went
Dynatec and Swagelok specialists — Swagelok London, Swagelok Kazakhstan and Dynatec / Swagelok Uzbekistan — travelled to the GTL plant in the Qashqadaryo Region. Uzbekistan GTL is jointly developed by Sasol, Petronas and Uzbekneftegaz.

What was done
During a three-day visit our experts visited the facility, evaluated on-site systems and advised GTL on performance enhancements. Swagelok carried out a comprehensive inspection of the fittings in use on the GTL site.

What was discussed
Correct installation procedures were discussed with GTL's specialists, along with how to check fitting installations and the incompatibility of different brands of instruments and the risks that entails.

What the customer got
Upon completion of the on-site services, GTL received a comprehensive report based on the inspection results, which identifies key issues and prioritises the recommended solutions.
